Cauliflower (Gobi) Bhajji

When the rain drops fall pitter patter, its time for Bhajji with steaming cup of Tea. Definitely bhajji is enjoyed all season and any time, here comes hot Gobi ke Bhajji

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • Medium size cauliflower seperated as Florets
  • Half tsp Ajwain
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • Half tsp garam masala
  • Half tsp Chat masala
  • 1tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. Boil water in a large pan. Add salt and turmeric. To the boiling water add Cauliflower florets. Let it remain for 2-3 mins. Switch off. Drain and keep Cauliflower aside
  2. In a mixing bowl add all masalas, salt and pepper with Ginger garlic paste and flour. Add water to make a thick batter
  3. Heat oil in a wok. Dip Cauliflower in batter and add to the oil. Fry on medium flame until golden brown. Drain excess oil on absorbent towel
  4. Serve hot with Sauce/Ketchup and steaming cup of tea
